Quick answer
Central Living at Craig is a three-story townhome community from Central Living by David Weekley Homes in Charlotte's 28211 ZIP code, off Monroe Road. This is not a builder brochure. It is a buyer-agent note from a September 2026 visit where we registered first and walked move-in-ready inventory.
Disclosure: Citadel Cofield represents buyers in several David Weekley communities, including Westwood Reserve.
Register with Citadel Cofield before you fill out a David Weekley form, book a tour, or visit the sales office on your own. Builder registration policies often count first contact, so confirm with us before you reach out. We handle the introduction, keep communication on a controlled channel, and advocate on price, options, lender incentives, parking, and HOA rules. Any closing credit is a possible closing-statement outcome only when we are paid, your lender allows it, and it follows the minimum service fee in your written buyer agency agreement. Fees are negotiable. Credit is not a rebate, not guaranteed, and not why you hire us. Full terms on our new construction page.
Should I book a Central Living at Craig tour from the builder site? Talk to a buyer's agent first. Builder registration policies often treat the first web form or unaccompanied visit as registration, which can affect whether independent representation is possible on that community. Register with Citadel Cofield first and we will confirm Weekley's current policy in writing.
What we walked
We registered beforehand. On this visit we walked move-in-ready inventory, including a three-story townhome with a balcony. Every plan we walked has living space on three levels. Ask whether any plan offers a first-floor bedroom or an elevator option.
Buildings sit close together on a compact site. Parking was limited on the day we toured. Ask for the number of assigned spaces per home, the number of guest spaces on the site plan, and how the HOA enforces parking rules before you buy.
There is no on-site pool. You are buying the townhome and its balcony space on an infill site surrounded by existing development along the Monroe Road corridor.
Location math
David Weekley lists Cotswold Village Shops about 2 miles away, Evergreen Nature Preserve within about 2 miles, and SouthPark and Uptown within about 5 miles. Our drive to Uptown after a September 2026 visit took about 10 minutes. Drive times to Cotswold, Uptown, and SouthPark will shift with destination and hour. Test your real commute at the time you would actually leave, and confirm drive times to the medical offices and retail you use.
Westwood Reserve is a separate David Weekley townhome community in northwest Charlotte (28216). If amenities factor into your decision, compare each community's current site plan side by side.
Money and process: questions to ask
David Weekley's closing-cost incentive is tied to its preferred lender. On our September 2026 visit, the sales office described preferred-lender closing-cost help of about $5,000. Treat that as a dated figure, not a promise. Weekley's Charlotte site also advertises a 30-year anniversary savings offer on move-in-ready homes. Confirm the current amount of every incentive, which loan types qualify, whether offers stack, and any expiration in writing before you choose financing.
Apply with the preferred lender so you can see the full incentive stack, even if you already have your own lender. Then compare total cost with your own lender before you choose. We sequence when you apply and what you put in writing.
Ask, for the specific home:
- Preferred-lender closing-cost help: current amount, restrictions, expiration
- Anniversary or move-in-ready savings: amount, eligible homes, whether it combines with lender help
- Rate buydown: temporary vs permanent, who pays, reset terms
- Options or design credits vs what you still pay
- Deposit to hold: amount and refund rules
- HOA dues, what they cover, and how parking rules are enforced
- Assigned and guest parking counts on the recorded site plan
- Completion timing for remaining buildings in the community
- Plan options with a first-floor bedroom or elevator
- Warranty procedures and rental rules in the recorded documents
How it compares
Central Living at Craig is three-story townhome product with no on-site pool, a compact site, and limited parking as observed on our September 2026 tour. Buyers comparing amenity packages can review Westwood Reserve, Galloway Ridge, or Redhawk Townes.
Closing credit: short and conditional
If we represent you at Central Living at Craig and are paid buyer-agent compensation on the purchase, a credit may appear on the closing statement only from compensation we actually receive, only if your lender allows it, and only after the minimum service fee in your written buyer agency agreement. Fees are negotiable. Compensation varies by community, and we confirm it in writing before you write an offer. This is not a rebate and not a guaranteed cash-back amount. See our new construction page.
